7th & 8th Grade Electives

In addition to their six core subjects, students have an opportunity to take two elective classes per trimester. We have made every effort to provide a wide variety of high interest courses in our junior high elective program. Please read through the form below and fill it out carefully with your child; then submit it electronically by hitting the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page. Be sure that you have included the student’s name and grade at the top of the form. Every effort will be made to ensure that they have an opportunity to take classes of high interest to them.

Physical Education: Students are required to take 2 PE classes over the course of the school year. Please check your preference.

Regular PE (girls and boys classes are taught separately)
Dance (girls only)
Requesting sports exemption*

* Participation in a school sport or a team outside of school can take the place of one of the PE requirements (sports verification form will be required)

MISSIONS: Students who are part of the mission team to the Dominican Republic are required to take this class in preparation for their trip.
TEST PREP: Although this class is not required, it is highly recommended for any 8th graders who will be testing for entrance into private high schools or advance placement classes.
