Music as God’s gift to us adds beauty and enjoyment to our lives. Musical talent and ability coupled with the desire to learn and a willingness to practice is a gift from God. When that gift is developed students may experience a lifetime of musical enjoyment perhaps even a ministry for the Lord. In order to encourage and facilitate the development of musical talent. Piano Lessons will be made available with the Music Department of Foothill Christian School.
Here at FCS we offer Piano Lessons from Kindergarten to 8th grade and beyond, as many students come back to further their studies in piano. There are two piano recitals in January and May. During these recitals children get a chance to play for their family and friends in a formal yet fun atmosphere. Every spring our school also participates in the ACSI Piano Festival in Pasadena.
Later in life this musical journey leads students to accompany for choir or band, play for their churches, small groups as well as become ministers of music, play for weddings, shopping malls, do solo recitals-the possibilities are endless. Summer Lessons are also available.
